Since its introduction, RFID has caused a revolution in hospital pharmacy medication management. Together, the ASHP Innovation Center and Fresenius Kabi are underwriting the Enhancing Adoption of RFID Technology research grant, which will fund projects that use RFID to further optimize medication safety and outcomes. The grant program is now open with a top award of 50,000 US dollars.
